Flirting Parties ... Flirting.com - pg 6 (BACK)

Yvonne, in the middle, is a party gossip.  She claims she gets the dirt on "whose who" at the party and uses this information to her flirting advantage.

"I even googled a guy I had just met moments after he went to go get another class of wine," she said, sneakily.  "I learned he was the vice president of a bank, and boy did I cash in that night."

Googling a guy at the party at which you are flirting with him might be a little extreme, but heck if you have access to the internet and he isn't looking... it can't hurt to know a little bit about him.

These girls are displaying some great beach flirting at Clearwater Beach in Florida.  How they do it is simple: they maximize the strength of numbers.

"Individually, we blend in with the other girls at the beach," said Sheila, the debutante on the far right.  "But, when we split off in a group of three and start having fun and drawing attention to ourselves... men notice. Because we are all in it together as friends our silliness just comes off as being the fun girls everyone wants to hang out with!"

Good flirting technique.  You just have to have the right friends to pull it off.

Gabriella from Atlanta, Georgia, says good party flirting lies in the party preparation.  Look your best and you will set yourself up for flirting success.

"So many times I hear my friends complain about how they can't meet anybody," she said.  "But they don't take the time to look their best. Even if they are coming from work and don't have a lot of time, some lip gloss and funky heels are all you need to spice up any outfit! Make the best of what you have and you'll feel more confident. I always do!"

We would never argue with that advice.  Don't look like a bum at the party.  You want to be as eye catching and unique as they come and you will do well.

Samantha from Philadelphia knows that flirting at parties requires the right look.  Her bare midriff is perfect and she's not afraid to let it show at a party.  Naturally, the men flock in flirting droves.

The point here is that if you got it, don't be afraid to use it. Just be sure that once you have the attention you convey the image and personality of who you really are and what you are looking for.

At parties, you need to separate yourself from the pack.  Pick out your best asset and emphasize it.  It doesn't have to be physical, It might be your ability to tell a joke. No matter what your skill or trait is, use it to stand out as an individual and then stay true to yourself.

Harry from Trenton, New Jersey claims to be a great flirt.  He says it is all about the size of his hoagie! "Just kidding about the hoagie but, In all seriousness," he told Flirting.com.

"Women like a provider.  It is the natural instinct in them.  If you show up at the party with plenty of food to share, it shows them that this man can provide.  This sets the groundwork for great flirting later in the evening."

Harry is right, too.  Sometimes it really is the size of your hoagie that matters most.

"We all know men tell the dumbest jokes," says Janice from Orlando, Florida.  "Most lady audience members will reward these jokes with a groan but not me. If the man is cute, I will act like it is the funniest joke I have ever heard in my life."

We love this approach. Men love to be made to feel clever and important at parties. It is very ego boosting for a guy to know his joke has hit home. He will like you more and will want to flirt with you more.

Sure, you may have heard the one about the "two guys walk into a bar..." but what about the one that goes "she left with a hot man?" If you like him, laugh at his jokes.

Jerry from Seattle, Washington, displays the "divide and conquer" technique.  He doesn't so much market himself as a desirable flirt with just one women, he makes it appear that he's a hot commodity and lets them all fight over who will win him over.

"I think women can be territorial and possessive," said Jerry.  "Maybe that's a generalization, but I've learned that using it works well. It may be a jerk move but when I've been talking to a girl for a while and her friend comes over I will engage her in conversation and show her the same amount of attention. Usually the girl who wants me the most will tell the others to back off and stick by my side all night long"

If it works, it works. Nothing like letting a pack of wolves fight for the juiciest peice of the wild boar.

Teresa, on the left, from New York loves to show her outgoing and exuberant personality at parties.  She's not afraid to get a little touchy feely with her friends, this appeals to men. "Hugs, lingering handshakes and accidental bumps are all part of my flirting arsenal," Teresa told Flirting.com. Well done Teresa.  Even hugging your friends shows you are not afraid to get intimate and men like to know that.
